Our care operational model is based on the Australian model which has been recognised as class-leading. This model has been localised to our local stringent requirements set out by the Ministry of Health and complements the cultural norms within multicultural Malaysia
Our nursing care team comprises of professional care givers trained in our unique elder care giver training academy operated by our in-house team. This training academy provides an 18-month training programme which is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resources. In the academy, our trainees undergo a training syllabus focused on care for the elders in our society, covering both physiological and emotional aspects of care.
Licensing
Our Nursing Care Residence in Penang is on track to be the only care facility in Penang that will be licensed by both the Ministry of Health and the Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Development of Women, Family and Community.
In order to meet the stringent requirements for licensing, residents in the Nursing Care Residence in Eden at Botanica CT can be assured that our building and amenities, our Standard Operating Procedures and our nursing and administrative team comply with those requirements and are regularly audited by the two Ministries with agreed improvements to be continually implemented.
